Medications after Psychologist Diagnosis
Service Description
Book an appointment to discuss and start medications (such as stimulants) IF you have already received a diagnosis from a clinical psychologist. If appropriate, you will receive a Special Authority Number for the medication started and the script will be sent to your local pharmacy for collection. There are a number of conditions in which stimulants are not safe to start, such as history of cardiac disease, epilepsy or glaucoma. If stimulants are not safe, other options can be discussed and started. Please note you will need to provide your psychologist’s report before your appointment. If the report does not contain enough information, the appointment will need to be extended or changed to a full 90-minute ADHD assessment. If your appointment needs to be amended, you will NOT be charged without your consent first or alternatively you are able to cancel free of charge.

Cancellation Policy
Payment is required prior to your appointment. You may cancel for free up to 72 hours prior to your appointment time, otherwise you will be charged the full amount.
